The Salomon Toundra Forces CSWP is a high-performance tactical winter shoe designed for extreme cold environments. Built for military and law enforcement use, this model delivers reliable protection in harsh winter conditions, combining full waterproofing, advanced insulation, and secure traction on snow and ice.

Engineered to perform in temperatures as low as -40°C, the shoe provides exceptional thermal protection while maintaining comfort and mobility during extended missions in cold climates.

The upper construction combines PU-coated leather with Anti-Debris Mesh and breathable textile materials. This combination ensures durability, flexibility, and resistance to harsh environmental conditions. The Anti-Debris Mesh prevents dirt, snow, and small particles from entering, helping maintain a clean and comfortable interior.

PU-coated leather reinforces the structure, increasing resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. Its water-repellent properties help keep moisture out, while the smooth surface allows for easy cleaning and maintenance in demanding field conditions.

At the core of the insulation system is Salomon’s Aerotherm™ technology, which uses aerogel—a highly advanced insulating material known for its extremely low thermal conductivity. Despite being lightweight, it retains body heat effectively, keeping feet warm even in extreme cold. The thin and flexible construction allows freedom of movement without sacrificing thermal performance.

The ClimaSalomon Waterproof (CSWP) membrane ensures full protection against moisture while remaining breathable, maintaining a dry and comfortable internal environment even in wet and snowy conditions.

The SensiFit™ system wraps the foot securely from the midsole to the lacing system, providing a precise and stable fit. The traditional lacing system with closed hooks reduces the risk of snagging and ensures reliable adjustment during movement.

Additional protection is provided by a reinforced rubber toe cap and full mudguard, which shield the foot from impacts, abrasion, and moisture, while improving overall durability.

The Contagrip® Winter outsole is specifically designed for icy and snowy surfaces, delivering dependable grip and stability in winter conditions. The EnergyCell midsole with EVA cushioning provides shock absorption and comfort during extended wear.

Despite its advanced insulation and protection, the Toundra Forces CSWP remains lightweight and functional, making it a reliable choice for operations in extreme environments.
