he Salomon XA Forces 8” GTX EN is a high-performance tactical boot designed for professionals who require maximum durability, protection, and mobility in all operational environments. Built on the proven XA Pro 3D platform and upgraded for tactical use, this model delivers reliable performance across urban terrain, rough landscapes, and wet conditions.

With its extended 8-inch shaft, the boot provides increased ankle support without compromising agility. Despite its robust construction, it remains lightweight within its class, allowing fast and controlled movement during demanding missions.

Every component of the boot has been reinforced to improve durability and reliability. From the strengthened stitching and abrasion-resistant materials to the upgraded outsole, the construction is designed to withstand intensive use in harsh conditions.

The 3D Advanced Chassis™, positioned between the midsole and outsole, enhances stability, motion control, and impact protection. It supports the foot during rapid directional changes and uneven terrain, improving balance while reducing fatigue.

The Contagrip® MA outsole delivers dependable traction across a wide variety of surfaces, including wet, dry, hard, and loose terrain. In the EN version, the sole meets ISO 20344:2011 standards for puncture resistance, providing additional safety in environments where sharp objects may be present.

The dual-density midsole with EnergyCell technology ensures effective shock absorption and long-lasting cushioning, helping maintain comfort during extended wear. Inside, the molded OrthoLite® insole improves breathability, moisture management, and overall comfort.

The upper construction combines Anti-Debris Mesh, breathable textile, and nubuck leather reinforcements in high-stress areas. The mesh prevents dirt and particles from entering the boot while maintaining airflow, ensuring comfort in both hot and humid conditions.

The integrated GORE-TEX membrane provides full waterproof protection, keeping feet dry from external moisture while allowing internal humidity to escape. Non-reflective materials enhance discretion in tactical environments.

The SensiFit™ system wraps the foot securely for a precise and stable fit, while the Quicklace™ system allows fast adjustment with a single pull. A lace pocket keeps excess lace safely stored during movement.

Additional protection is provided by a reinforced rubber toe cap and mudguard, as well as a medial protective pad designed for rope work and demanding tactical use.

Despite its high level of protection and durability, the XA Forces 8” GTX EN weighs approximately 620 g, making it one of the lightest boots in its category with an 8-inch shaft.
