The Salomon XA Forces Mid Wide GTX EN is a high-performance tactical boot developed for professionals operating in demanding environments where stability, protection, and mobility are essential. Based on Salomon’s iconic XA Pro 3D platform, this mid-cut version delivers enhanced ankle support while maintaining the agility of a lightweight shoe, making it suitable for both urban operations and rugged terrain.

This Wide version is specifically designed for users who require additional space in the forefoot and instep area. The extended last provides increased comfort during prolonged wear, while the reinforced internal structure ensures added support during climbing, fast movement, or rappelling scenarios.

Certified under ISO 20347:2012, this model meets strict occupational standards, including anti-static properties, slip resistance, and puncture protection. These features enhance safety in unpredictable environments by reducing the risk of slipping, protecting against sharp objects, and preventing the buildup of static electricity.

The upper construction combines durable nubuck leather, abrasion-resistant textile, and Anti-Debris Mesh. This combination provides long-lasting durability while maintaining flexibility and breathability. The Anti-Debris Mesh prevents dirt, sand, and small particles from entering the shoe, ensuring consistent comfort and performance in harsh conditions. 

The integrated GORE-TEX membrane ensures full waterproof protection while allowing moisture vapor to escape, keeping the foot dry and comfortable even in wet environments. Non-reflective materials enhance discretion, making the boot suitable for tactical use.

The SensiFit™ system wraps the foot from the midsole to the lacing structure, delivering a secure and precise fit. Combined with the Quicklace™ system, the shoe allows fast and efficient adjustment with a single pull, even when wearing gloves. Excess lace can be safely stored in the integrated lace pocket, preventing interference during movement.

Additional protection is provided by a reinforced rubber toe cap and mudguard, which shield the foot from impacts and abrasion while improving durability in demanding conditions.

Inside, the OrthoLite® insole offers cushioning, breathability, and moisture control, helping reduce fatigue during long missions. The antimicrobial properties improve hygiene and long-term comfort.

The 3D Advanced Chassis™, positioned between the midsole and outsole, delivers stability and motion control while maintaining flexibility. It supports fast directional changes and ensures efficient energy transfer during movement.

The dual-density midsole combines soft cushioning for shock absorption with firmer foam for stability and support, reducing strain and improving overall performance.

The Contagrip® outsole is designed for maximum traction across varied terrain. Its durable rubber compound and optimized tread pattern provide reliable grip on wet, dry, hard, and loose surfaces, ensuring confidence in all operational environments.
